Light and refreshing smell, very attractive coloured bottle
My boyfriend surprised me the other day by buying me another perfume as a little present. I`m addicted to perfume and there is always a new one that I want. The newest one added to my collection is Gucci Envy Me 2. I actually found out after he bought it that this is a limited edition perfume so I`m a very lucky girl.
Packaging
This perfume comes in a very classy looking box which is a light green (mint) colour. The Gucci logo is embossed all over the box in various places. Gucci Envy Me 2 is written across the front of the box in silver writing and the `Me` of the title is written in pink!
The bottle itself has the same sort of colour scheme at the box, the bottle is a mint colour but the glass is frosted so you can still actually see how much perfume you have left which I find very useful. The lid for bottle is a slighter darker green than the rest of the bottle and has Gucci Envy Me 2 written on in. The bottle is very tall and square shaped.
What Does It Smell Like?
This perfume is very light and would be perfect to wear on a nice summers day, the scent is has a very fresh and clean smell to it (but not in a clinical way) which means that the perfume is very refreshing.
The ingredients of the perfume include orange, magnolia, violet, rose, heliotrope and patchouli. I am unsure of a couple of the ingredients but whatever they are, they work so well together and create a perfume that is suitable for all occasions.
Does The Smell Last?
To be honest, the perfume does not last as long as some of the others in my collection. Towards the end of the day, you can barely smell it on yourself and if you can, its only a very faint smell. I think this is probably due to the fact that the perfume is designed to be light and refreshing. I always find that the heavier perfumes have better staying power but this perfume smells so nice that you can definitely forgive the fact that the smell doesn`t last as long as some of the others on the market.
Range
Gucci actually have a fairly wide range or perfumes. To name a few: Gucci Rush, Gucci Rush 2, Gucci Envy, Gucci Envy Me and Gucci Woman.
Summary
I would definitely recommend this perfume. The smell is so light and refreshing and certainly makes you feel very feminine. This isn`t a perfume for woman who don`t like the sweet and girlie perfumes - don`t get me wrong, this perfume is not sickly sweet but is definitely a more girlie one than some of my others.
The downside to this is that that smell doesn`t last as long as I would like, meaning that I often have to use more and maybe reapply it if I am going on a night out. The other downside is that it is a limited addiction so will not be available everywhere.

Smells lush.
Okay, so here goes, first of many "what i got for christmas" reviews. To be honest thought i would do this one first, because it was one of the ones i loved! I first smelt this scent on the way back from Greece in October! Being stranded there, with our flight delayed 5 hours, i had plenty of time to go and sniff out the perfumes. Didn`t buy it at the time, because i had many others that needed "using up". Anyway, luckily santa must have thought i had been a good gal this year, as it was in my stocking!! Yay how great is that!!!
***THE PACKAGING***
This scent comes in a very attractive, classy looking box. It`s a kind of mint colour, with the gucci logo embossed all over the box. On the box itself, it has Gucci envy 2 written in silver with the Me in pink! It really is a good looking box! Very eye catching, and the mint is just a lovely "different" colour making it stand out from your pale, or garish boxes. The bottle itself, also continues with the mint colour, although not quite as strong. The lid to the bottle has the same design and lettering as the box.
***THE SMELL***
This smell is gorgeous, so gorgeous that i think i may have to stock up before it comes of the shelf (It`s a limited addition!! NOOOO!!!) It is an extremely light and very fresh smell. Extremely refreshing. It`s not sickly or sweet in any way which makes a nice change. A fantastic scent for both the day or evening, but if you do like something a bit heavier when you are going out then i wouldn`t recommend it.
***DOES IT LAST???***
The only downside is that this scent doesn`t last as long as the ones i`m used to. I`ve found that since wearing this i do have to reapply a few times a day. It`s a shame, but the smell is so nice that i can forgive it for this minor downfall. When you squirt this one on you it doesn`t fil the room for ages or make you choke to death, so all in all, not an extremly strong scent.
***WOULD I RECOMMEND?***
I would definately recommend this one. Okay so it`s not the best for lasting the distance, but not terrible either. The smell certainly makes up for that. This one would certainly make an ideal summer scent, as it is so light and refreshing, but hey just as good to wear in these horrible winter months!! As for the price, well i don`t know what santa paid for it, but i`ve had a little look on the trusted net, and have found 50 ml for between £30 and £40, although there are people selling it on ebay for £26 buy it now!! You can get 30 ml for between £20 and £28. I have been using a fair bit and havn`t made a dent in it yet, so i will say it`s very good value for money. I hope they keep this limited edition around for a while as it is fab!!! If you do like heavy perfumes, then steer clear of this. Yes it`s noticeable, but no in your face stylee!
