Fresh, feminine and lasting
MY Gucci Envy Eau de Toilette Spray is a sample given to my Boss which she passed to me. I`m not very fond of scents because I usually get headache if the scent does not match my delicate sense of smell. One Sunday I thought of wearing a scent to the church and chose this one. I noticed at once its distinctive fresh, light flowery scent! My husband sweetly commented I smell so fresh while I sat beside him in the car. On the way to the church, I passed by a flower shop and while choosing from the bunch of flowers, the saleslady commented that I smell so fresh as if I have just stepped out of the bathroom. In the church as I hug my church mates, they also got captivated by my fresh scent. I also noticed it has a whole day lasting power because even without re-spraying my sister was able to smell it`s freshness at the dinner table.

Lovely, sexy, reasonable cost, fashionable
I think it is so great and fresh, and I just love the smell of it. I wear it constanstly all day. I brought this product because I liked the look of the bottle. It was very simple but a very appealing design. Gucci has always got an outstanding reputation for quality, and that is most important ina brand product. Some perfumes are very musky and after a while smell horrible, but with Envy it has a very lemony smell. This perfume would be suitable for a young person as it is a hip smell. I must say that all of the sister products such as shower gel, and body lotion, are not as great as the perfume, but nethertheless still enjoyable. The perfume is not expewnsive either. Some on the market are a ridiculous amount of money, but Envy is avery reasonable.

A fresh, sexy, memorable scent
My first experience of Gucci Envy was my use of a disgarded perfume sampler to freshen up the smell of the changing cubicles while working in a well-known department store. Glamour it wasn`t, but luckily I didn`t work there long enough for it to gain bad connotations, as some scents tend to do if used in the wrong circumstances. Initially, I was surprised by the scent, expecting a classic more mature scent, perhaps on a par with Chanel No 5 I was taken by how fresh and modern it actually smelt.
So much so, in fact, it was top of my Christmas list this year and I was blessed with not only the perfume but also the complimenting Gucci Envy body lotion. The lotion does have a much more subtle scent, which lasts on the skin, but I do think it is slightly modified from the original perfume, and this makes it`s scent sharper.
The bottle is sleek, sophisticated and minimalist. It is long, thin and translucent, revealing the inner yellowy-green envious perfume, embossed only with "GUCCI ENVY" and topped with a modern silver squared cap. Looks expensive, obviously because of its designer but the bottle itself oozes class.
I wear Gucci Envy as my evening perfume generally because it`s a very striking scent (but not for the wrong reasons!) but I would not find it over-the-top for day-wear and often venture out in daylight wearing it. Although it is bold it does not offend at all, and feels very fresh and fun to wear. It does soften into being a subtley sexy scent to wear next to the skin and lasts quite well, but as I mentioned the original scent softens, but this after-scent is perhaps more desirable since it blends with your body.
I am assured that this scent is sexy and desirable, but I wouldn`t class it as one to associate with romance, perhaps more suited to a night of passion. Let`s hope it encourages them too! This perfume makes you feel fabulous, confident and sexy; just the sort of girl others ENVY!
